Guide
Agree who will take care of a task, check changed details, and record what is actually done. The families and schedules in these examples are fictional.
1. Connect your family and add your first schedule
Choose Explore a sample family on the sign-in screen to try the app without an account. Sample changes stay in that browser and do not sync with anyone else. For real shared planning, each adult should sign in with their own account.
- One person chooses Create our family and enters a display name and family name.
- Choose Invite your partner and send the invitation code privately to the person joining. A code can be used once within 24 hours.
- The other person signs in to their own account and chooses Join with a code. A family currently supports two adult users. Child profiles organize schedules; they are not separate child login accounts.
- Add children under Family → Our children if needed, then choose Add schedule.
Enter a title, date, start and end times, and carer. The end must be later than the start on the same day. Add a useful meeting point and specific things to bring so the other person has enough detail to take over.
Minjun's swimming / 16:00–17:00 / carer Jiwoo / place: sports centre, ground-floor lobby / bring: swimsuit and towel / note: meet in the lobby after class. Choose Every week and Wednesday if it repeats. Add an end date if the schedule stops for the holidays.
Family schedules are visible to the other connected adult. Only me schedules are private to you and do not appear in your partner's calendar or handoffs; you remain their carer. An empty slot in your partner's calendar does not establish availability. Use a handoff request when you need an answer.
2. Start with today's care
The Today view brings together today's care, upcoming schedules, preparation notes and upcoming birthdays. The time in Today's care is the schedule's start time. Open the details to check the full start–end range and the pickup or meeting information.
In Calendar, switch between day, week and month views and select a date. Use Everyone for the whole picture or My care to focus on your assignments. If a family birthday seems missing, first switch to Everyone.
Prepare for swimming based on the 16:00 start. Check the 17:00 finish and lobby meeting point in the details, then check that the towel is packed. Reading the plan does not mean the task is already complete.
3. Choose the scope of a change
Open a schedule and choose Edit schedule to change its times, carer, place, preparation, contact details or notes. Saving a carer change directly updates the assignment within the chosen scope. To ask for agreement before transferring responsibility, use a handoff request instead.
When editing a repeating schedule, check the change scope before saving. The initial choice is the selected date only.
- This date only: changed details affect the selected occurrence.
- All dates in the repeating schedule: the fields you change apply across that repeating schedule, not just future dates. Date-specific completion and cancellation records are kept.
If swimming starts at 16:30 only this Wednesday, choose this date only. If the registered repeating timetable needs a new start time throughout, choose all dates. The same choice applies when changing a carer for one day or across the series.
Use Cancel this day when an occurrence will not take place. Other dates remain, and the cancelled occurrence does not send reminders. Choose Restore this day if it will go ahead after all.
4. Ask your partner before handing over
The current carer can choose Ask partner to take over on an unfinished shared schedule. The other person opens the request in Handoffs or the schedule details and replies I'll take care of it or I can't this time.
Sending a request alone does not transfer responsibility. The sender can use Withdraw request if help is no longer needed.
Jiwoo asks Harin to take over swimming pickup. Jiwoo is still responsible while the reply is pending. After Harin accepts, they check the updated assignment and Harin reviews the lobby location and preparation notes.
5. Separate reading from doing
- I've checked this: acknowledges the current details without completing the task.
- Mark done: records actual completion and names the person pressing the button as the person who completed it.
- Undo completion: reopens a task completed by mistake or needing attention again.
The details show who has checked them. If the schedule changes after you acknowledged it, the app may ask you to check the new version. An earlier acknowledgement does not automatically cover later changes.
If pickup moves from the lobby to the main entrance, read the change and acknowledge it. Mark the task done after you have actually met the child. This keeps a read receipt separate from a completed pickup.
6. Register the original birth date
Under Family → Family birthdays → Add birthday, enter the person's name, solar or Korean lunar calendar, and original birth year, month and day. Select the leap-month option for a lunar leap-month birthday. The birth year must follow the calendar you selected.
For a lunar date, the app checks that the date and leap month existed in the birth year. It then converts that lunar month and day separately for each year and shows birthdays as all-day calendar entries. The birthday panel shows this year's date, the next birthday and its countdown. A birthday today is marked Today.
Editing and saving a birthday recalculates annual dates and the countdown. Changing only the birth year may leave future dates unchanged when the lunar month, day and leap-month choice stay the same. Existing entries without a birth year remain available; supply the year when editing them.
If a year has no matching lunar leap month, no matching lunar 30th day, or no solar February 29, the app does not substitute another day. The countdown targets the next actual matching birthday. Korean lunar conversion currently covers 1001–2050; dates outside that range receive a date-availability notice.
A family might celebrate a leap-month birthday in the ordinary month during other years. That convention differs from the app's exact-date policy. Keep the original birthday accurate and add the agreed family meal as a separate regular schedule.
7. Share a day's schedule as a card
Choose the date you want to send and open the day-sharing dialog. Review the selected schedules in the default timetable-style preview.
- Choose the schedules to include. Private and cancelled schedules are excluded by default. A private schedule is included only when you select it explicitly.
- Choose whether to include assignee names and place, preparation and notes. Schedule contact details are not included.
- Choose Prepare share image and review the resulting PNG.
- Use Share image to messenger, or save the PNG and attach it to a conversation in KakaoTalk, Messages or another app. Direct sharing depends on the apps offered by your device.
You can also share or copy text, or choose Save designed HTML file. HTML preserves the card as a file; the recipient may need to download it and open it in a browser. It is not guaranteed to render as a webpage inside a messenger conversation.
It is not a public live link. Changes to the schedule do not update PNG, HTML or text that you already sent. If a time or place changes, prepare and send a new card.
Imported Google events are not included. Selected birthdays share only the name and an all-day event for that date, omitting the birth year, original birth date and age. Review the preview before sending, especially when you have selected a private schedule or included personal notes.
8. View Google events alongside your plans
In Family settings, choose Connect Google Calendar and review Google's permission screen. Imported events are private to you and read-only in Our Day. Edit them in Google Calendar, using the event's open-in-Google link if helpful.
The app imports upcoming events for the next year and refreshes every five minutes while active. Use Sync now when a recent change is not visible. Reconnect if permission has expired. Disconnecting removes imported copies and leaves the original Google events intact.
Google sign-in and Google Calendar access are separate connections. The sample family does not connect to a real Google account.
9. Connect an AI app only if you need it
Normal schedule management does not require AI. To query schedules from an AI app, use Copy setup prompt for any AI under AI schedule management. The prompt helps establish what that client supports and how to configure it. Pasting it does not itself create a connection.
The current connector runs on a computer using local stdio MCP. It requires a compatible AI client and Node.js 22 or later. Remote-only web and mobile MCP clients cannot connect directly at present. The full path to server.mjs locates the installed connector, not your stored family data.
Follow the in-app instructions to download and install the ZIP, create a key with the permissions you need, and configure the actual installation path. Keep read-only permissions if you only need queries. Paste settings containing your personal key into the AI client's MCP settings, not into a chat or public post. Verify access with a short date-range query. The current MCP schedule update targets a specified day; use the app's edit scope for whole-series changes.
10. When something looks wrong
- I cannot see my partner's schedule.
Check that both accounts joined the same family, the schedule is shared, and the date and carer filters are correct. Sample mode does not sync between users.
- I cannot save.
Offline data is read-only. Check your internet connection and the connection indicator. If another device changed the item, refresh, review the latest details and try again.
- A birthday is missing.
Check the solar/lunar choice, birth year, month, day and leap-month flag. Read the panel's notice about unavailable dates and select Everyone in the calendar.
- I am not receiving reminders.
Check both the schedule's reminder setting and your device's notification permission. Push availability depends on the browser, device and service connection. Follow the in-app status message and check important plans in the app as well.
- My messenger is missing from the share menu.
Save the PNG and attach it as a photo, or copy and paste the text. Prepare the image again if you changed the content after creating it.
11. Make small choices with the ladder game
Open Ladder game on the sign-in, Today or settings screen. Registered adults and children are added automatically with names and portraits. Remove anyone who is not playing and use the family buttons to add them back; the same family member cannot be added twice. Choose Add another player for a guest and tap their portrait to select an illustration or photo. Choose 2–8 players, then select Next · Set outcomes. On the next screen, enter a separate pool of outcomes, one per player. Outcomes are always editable. Choose Next · Set positions and use the arrows beside a name or Shuffle player positions. Players appear on the ladder from left to right in this order. Moving players keeps the configured outcomes. Select Start ladder to draw.
Tap a name at the top to follow its path and reveal its result. Choose Reveal all results to see everyone, then Copy results for a text copy. Use Draw again for a new draw or Edit setup to change the entries.
The game runs only on the current screen and resets when closed. Results do not sync to your family or change schedule assignments.
